How it Works

  • Both in-person and on-demand video reviews are available for this class
  • Live reviews are held in person at LionTutors on the dates and times listed in the schedule section below.
    • Seats are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
    • We recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes early.
    • The capacity of live reviews will be limited due to social distancing requirements.
  • On-demand reviews can be accessed anytime and anywhere using the access code on the front of your LionTutors packet.
    • You will not be able to access on-demand video reviews until you have received your packet from LionTutors.
    • You can pause, rewind, speed up, or slow down the video as you see fit.
  • All reviews can be purchased at the LionTutors Review Center during our hours of operations.
    • If you are in State College, you should come to LionTutors to make a purchase.
    • If you are not in State College, you can make a purchase through our online store; however, you will not be able to access your video until you receive your LionTutors Review Packet in the mail.

Kyle is from Brooklyn, NY. He is majoring in meteorology and hopes to one day forecast for the National Weather Service. At Penn State, Kyle is a shift leader for the Campus Weather Service, a member of the co-ed fraternity Phi Sigma Pi, and is frequently involved in IM Sports. In his free time, he enjoys playing the piano and watching baseball. Kyle decided to become a tutor to share the knowledge he’s worked hard to obtain. He loves helping people learn!

Sarah is the director of the Math department and head Math tutor at LionTutors. She received a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics and a Masters in Business Management at the University of Florida. Sarah has been tutoring math for over a decade. She has a true talent, and more importantly, a true passion for teaching. Sarah makes math easy by breaking up each problem step-by-step and using language that students understand. We’ll even go so far as to say, she makes learning math fun… well as fun as math can be anyway!

Allison is one of our math tutors. She is majoring in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. She is from Pittsburgh, PA, and she hopes to one day work for a space industry in the designing or computational department. Allison became a tutor because of her passion for math and her ability to help friends with their math classes. She loves sharing her skills with other students! Outside of LionTutors, she is a SWAT envoy, a TA for Engineering Design 100, and involved in a jazz ensemble at school.
